Welcome to The Sauce and Gravy Channel. My name is Johnny Mac and I love to cook. My passion started at the young age of 5. In 2006, my French wife and I flew to France on an adventure to fulfill my dream of attending Le Cordon Bleu Paris culinary school. Despite receiving instructions in French (which I was not completely fluent in at the time 😊), I graduated first in my class with a “Diplôme de Cuisine”.  It must have been all that determination and excitement!

 

For years, my wife has been pounding me on how to make a good sauce to pair with this and that dish…As I was teaching her different techniques and advising her on ingredients to use, I realized that these questions may be commonly asked. As I searched for sauces and gravies online, I realized that the information available was disorderly and often sparse. So here you have it! I created The Sauce and Gravy Channel and posted my first video in February 2020. 

 

My wife and son’s encouragements have been my catalyst and I am so thankful for their assistance with this endeavor.
