  • 4 tbsp or 45g Unsalted Butter

  • 2.25oz or 64g Dried Beef

  • 4 tbsp or 45g Flour

  • 2 cups or 500ml Milk

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

  • Dash of Cayenne Pepper

  • Dash of Salt

1.Cut the dried beef into small strips or chips.

2.Add butter to a skillet over medium to high heat and melt it down. Then drop in the dried beef and sauté for about 30 seconds. Sprinkle the flour onto the beef, stir, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

3.Pour in the milk, stir, and cook over medium to high heat. Once the sauce starts to simmer, turn the heat to low and add the black pepper and cayenne pepper. Cook until the gravy is as thick as desired.
